The Financial Services Sector represents a vital component of our nation's critical infrastructure. Large-scale power outages, recent natural disasters, and an increase in the number and sophistication of cyber-attacks demonstrate the wide range of potential risks facing the sector. Bank of America, due to its brand and size, presents itself as a significant target for cyber-attacks from both external and internal threat actors.

Job Description:The operations lead SME will be responsible the day to day operations including analysis, analysis QA, training, tech QA, reporting, and governance routines. Additionally, the operations lead will drive detection policy enhancements and automation opportunities across the control. The operations lead will directly interface with the analyst team to proactively solve any issues and facilitate any training requirements. The operations lead will also collaborate with the transformation lead on overall control enhancements and strategic direction. The Operations lead must be able to interface with various risk partners and provide timely information. Qualified candidates must be self-starters able to achieve results with little oversight.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):• Monthly QA and analyst training routines• Metrics and reporting routines• Risk partner routines including but not limited to corporate audit, compliance, BISO and incident management• Identify and implement process improvements including automation and operational excellence• Identify and implement policy improvements• Key participant in operation strategy and future state of the control• Abide by and operate under the firms code of ethics, foremost being honesty, integrity and loyalty

Important Skills:• 3-5 years of experience in Information Security and/or related technology field• Hands on Use and understanding of industry leading DLP/ information security concepts/ principles/ technologies• Database administration understanding• Computer/ Cyber networking awareness with an understanding behavior analytics• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take ownership and an ability to collaborate effectively within a geographically complex global corporation • Attention to details• Excellent Time management/ organization• Effective communications both written and verbal with the ability to present control topics do a broad audience• Analytical mindset with intellectual curiosity and critical thinking• Strong problem solving with demonstrated proactive correction capabilities• Resource management, delegation and process improvement capabilities• Understanding of risk and performance metrics• Understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control

Nice to Have:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security• CISSP, InfoSec+ or other information security related certifications• Database administration/ schema understanding• Development skills (Python or other programming languages)
