ResponsibilitiesAs a Forensic Accountant / Investigative Specialist in our Public Sector Financial Services segment, you will support a large government agency in conducting various analysis and investigations related to financial transactions. You will support conducting intricate and complex analyses of financial transactions related to Money Laundering (ML) typologies and networks through intelligence gathering and cash flow analysis. QualificationsRequired: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited United States college or university in Business, Accounting or Finance or similar area Ability to obtain secret security clearance 8 or more years of experience Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of procedures and techniques as generally prescribed under American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) disciplines Solve complex problems independently by following accounting procedures and have experience in evaluating controls associated with complex business processes Knowledge of current and anticipated banking anti-money laundering regulations and practices Experience conducting analysis of complex financial and business records to support Federal investigations and prosecutions by using criminal investigative tools and other client-owned databases Demonstrate applied knowledge to the enforcement of Title 18, Title 31 and other applicable statutes of the Federal Criminal Code, and the seizure and forfeiture of illegally derived property May be responsible for serving as a Factual Witness Preferred: CPA, CFE, or other related certification Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.

This role is available virtually from EST, CST or PST time zones; however, up to 75% travel may be required to client sites across the country.
