We are seeking an experienced enterprise systems change manager (6-10 years of experience) responsible for planning, coordinating, and the implementation of change within the organization. This candidate has the option to work either remotely or in person at the Client Office location We are seeking an experienced enterprise systems change manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and the implementation of change within the organization. The position will adopt ITIL framework and best practices to ensure enhancements and changes are advanced into production with minimal risk and in a timely fashion. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, the position will work closely with various technical and stakeholder teams within the organization with the goal of introducing effective change while protecting the integrity of data systems and data. Key roles and responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the lifecycle of all changes and enhancements, with the primary goal of enabling beneficial changes to be made with minimal disruption to the business.
  • Convenes and chairs the change advisory board (CAB) and emergency change advisory board (eCAB), ensuring the requirements presented to these groups is complete and provides them with the information they need to make informed decisions about the changes, prioritizing and approving them, or rejecting them.
  • Apply structured methodologies and leads change management activities, processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of required changes.
  • The position with review requests for change (RFCs) in Client's change management system and assesses the impacts of the proposed change.
  • Categorizes change requests and sets priorities based on calendar of critical events, business goals and objectives, policy changes, and other factors.
  • Identifies, analyzes and prepares risk mitigation strategies related to changes.
  • Manages the transition of changes through the change management process from requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Meets with various stakeholder teams and business analysts to gain working knowledge and familiarity with the organization's workstream and serve as a thought partner and advocate for necessary enhancements to data systems.
  • Ensures the requirements provided by business units are complete and assists stakeholders by functioning as a bridge/liaison between the technical teams and business units.
  • Mediate conflicts related to the change where necessary.
  • Creates and circulates the change schedules within the organization.
  • Conducts Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) after the implementation of changes.
  • Maintains all change documentation (policies, procedures, templates, etc.)
  • Works with the systems helpdesk teams on identifying reoccurring problems and championing system change to address such problems.
  • Supports and facilitates all communication aspects of change.
  • Produce management reports and escalates challenges and issues in a timely fashion.
  • Exhibit an enthusiastic, positive attitude and works well both within a team and as an individual
  • Be able to efficiently manage and prioritize workload with a high level of productivity and ownership.
  • Demonstrate optimal time management and organization skills even under pressure, and have fastidious attention to detail with a voracious appetite to learn, understand, and suggest potential gaps and process improvements.
  • Provides change management process and system training to various stakeholders.
Required and preferred qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundations certified.
  • Practical implementation experience of the ITIL framework.
  • Working knowledge of the Service Management workflows and ITSM processes.
  • Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification or ATD Certification in Change Management preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise application support and services
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as an ITSM Change Management Lead.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience driving and supporting process improvements.
  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience.
  • Experience in the education field is a plus.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes.
  • Proven ability to engage and partner with stakeholders across multiple teams within the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position. "Desired" or "Highly Desired" skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required.
