Job Description:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for hardware and software issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware for PIVOT-I contract. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.

  • Perform new user hardware setup, imaging, re-imaging, relocations and reclaims.
  • Perform Installs and configures desktop computers, laptops, printers, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Performs repairs, software updates and service as needed related to the troubleshooting of computer equipment.
  • Setup and deploy computers, phones, and network printers.
  • Move equipment and set up equipment for users.
  • Assist with computer rollouts, tech refresh and software upgrades.
  • Receive, barcode, and manage new computer hardware and enter new hardware inventory to stock.
  • Conducts hardware imaging and software packaging/deployment
  • Provides desk side technical assistance for computer hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair computer hardware and printers and tablets.
    - Resolve hardware conflicts.
    - Setup and Driver installation.
    - Contact customers as required.
    - Update and close all service calls promptly.
  • Achieves stated Service Level Agreements and deliverance goals as assigned
  • Communicates basic technical concepts both in a written and oral manner
  • Familiarity of computer networks to solve basic issues
  • Strong writing skills to clearly respond to tickets and emails

Qualifications

  • A+ certification desired.
  • At least 2 years’ experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing PCs, laptops, Notebooks, and Mac’s devices.
  • Working knowledge of computer and laptop hardware and peripherals, both Windows and Mac.
  • Basic analytical and troubleshooting skills to install, repair and maintain various software and hardware.
  • Strong IT hardware troubleshooting skills.
  • ServiceNow Ticket System experience
  • Ability to install all types of peripherals and verify functionality.
  • Ability to learn new applications and programs
  • Knowledge of operating systems Windows 10.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills- Detail Oriented.
  • Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Understand and knowledgeable of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or/and BigFix similar systems management software
