Our client in Wilmington, DE is looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

As a Data/BI Analyst, the individual will contribute and lead in the design and development of analytical solutions to address business challenges:

• Develop control artifacts such as metadata dictionaries, process flows, control points, and assist in the creation of the data model
• Prepare data environment for and provide SME knowledge in regard to data audits
• Extract, transform and summarize and create data visualizations, dashboards, and operational scorecards to help drive performance improvement, and the support of business operations specifically focusing on analytics that impact business decision making
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve efficiency by streamlining, scaling and automating tools and processes. Implement improvements as appropriate.
• Work closely with business units to understand their information needs and deliver high-quality actionable information.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to improve process and gain efficiencies using data from various sources

Qualifications:

• Must have experience with reconciliation, validation, control points, and process mapping
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline such as business administration, finance, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience with designing, testing, deploying, and managing scalable data for use by cross-functional teams.
• Advanced analytical/problem solving and research skills
• High proficiency with Excel and Microsoft suite required
• Knowledge of data sources, tools, and common statistical principles
• Effective communication skills for writing reports/proposals and making presentations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others and has strong consulting capabilities
• Required proficiency with data analysis languages such as SQL or SAS
• Proficiency in building and modifying Tableau reports is highly preferred
• Ability to learn how to create simple tools and queries for others to use
• Understands how actions tie to systems capabilities and flow through to our financial/business drivers
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong planning skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment managing multiple priorities
