Title: DNA Data Analyst Location: Newark, De Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm Type: direct/permanent Start date: Immediate Responsibilities: Assembly of files for consensus sequence data using DNA assembly software

Evaluates DNA sequencing and MALDI-TOF sample data, forms identification conclusions, generates and signs/verifies reports

Effective processing of samples to meet Customer expectations

Follows all safety requirements for laboratory operation and use and disposal of chemical and biohazardous waste

Makes suggestions for laboratory process improvements

Adherence to regulatory and accreditor requirements

Follows all Quality System Procedures to analyze samples per Customer request b. Compliance to cGMP and ISO 17025 requirements

Provides Customer support and improving Customer satisfaction

Verifies sample reports and sends to Customers

Communicates with Customers regarding sample processing and report interpretation; escalates Customer inquiries outside of this scope to manager as needed

Act as a Customer liaison for the company at Customer-facing events

Assists in responding to Customer inquiries expediently (within 24hrs)

Represents policies and ethics of the company as outlined in the company handbook to Customers in a professional manner

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Biotechnology.

At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment.

Technical expertise in laboratory functions and services, including microbiology lab techniques and DNA sequencing.

Computer skills – all Office software and specialized software, including DNA sequencing analysis.

Experience with ISO 17025 (preferable) or ISO 9002 lab environment.

Experience in a 21 CFR part 211 environment
