Our client, a managed services and application development company located in Fort Washington, PA is seeking an Sr. Network Engineer to join their team for a full-time, direct hire opportunity, in Newark, DE.

Job Brief:The Network Engineer role is part of the Professional Services team, taking client project opportunities from vision/concept all the way through implementation. All members of the Professional Services team participate in pre-project Scope of Work delivery and remain involved until project completion. This includes phases for Discovery, Scope of Work, Planning, Implementation, Testing and more. Projects are focused on Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware technologies as well as software and services from other partners. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as the position is customer facing in nature.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years as a Network Engineer designing network solutions
  • Bachelor or Associates Degree
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills: able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
  • Proven track record of planning and executing on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail: able to develop accurate written materials
  • Action orientated: able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes
  • Ability to facilitate group discussions

Required Experience in most or all the following:
  • Expert level Firewall, Routing, Switching, Wireless and related technologies
  • Design, configuration, and management of enterprise networks
  • WAN / LAN including MPLS & SDWAN
  • Network segregation, VLAN routing
  • Storage Networking including iSCSI & Fiber Channel
  • Public and Private Cloud Networking
  • Network Security best practices
