Please note Beebe Healthcare Main Campus is located in Lewes, DE with other locations within a 22 mile radius Capable leader serving as the director for the Information Technology and Telecommunications Teams overseeing all activities of IT operations, network and datacenter infrastructure, telecommunications, desktop and service desk. Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating all aspects of the Information Technology & Telecommunication systems, as well as needs assessment, technology discovery and research, vendor partner comparisons, recommendations, contract negotiations, and developing/monitoring/managing project budgets.

  • Microsoft Stack, Azure, O365 and the effective use of SharePoint and Teams.
  • Microsoft client/server platforms, systems, software and tools in both on premise and cloud-based platforms; systems migration and implementation, and related change management strategies.
  • Virtual server environments, with specific knowledge of VMWare preferred.
  • Storage technologies and networking architecture including firewalls, switches, routers and other TCP/IP based networking infrastructure
  • Capable leader serving as the director for the Information Technology and Telecommunications Teams overseeing all activities of IT operations, network and datacenter infrastructure, telecommunications, desktop and service desk. Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating all aspects of the Information Technology & Telecommunication systems, as well as needs assessment, technology discovery and research, vendor partner comparisons, recommendations, contract negotiations, and developing/monitoring/managing project budgets.
Other information:
  • Minimum of five years progressive management experience in information systems. Must have strong technology and healthcare experience in both information and telecommunication systems.
  • Bachelors required. Masters desired but not required.
  • All members of the Leadership Team who need to use a phone for business purposes must use a personal cell phone.
  • Significant current experience in engineering, installation, and administration of networking and security infrastructure. Knowledge of NIST and/or HITRUST IT security frameworks.
  • Participation in professional organizations is encouraged, particularly HIMSS, CHIME, HDI, AEHIT/AEHIS. Relevant technology certifications is preferred.
Responsibilities: Must stay current with industry trends, innovations and threats, to ensure optimal development of the organization s strategic IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems, etc.) requirements and lifecycle refresh plans. Develop, manage, and report on the IT department's performance and annual operating budget. Rounds with customers and coordinates efforts between departments and Medical Staff in developing and implementing systems. Is responsible for the development, updating, and compliance of the IT policies and standards for the healthcare system. Competencies and Skills - Essential:
