Role :: Data Center Technician Location :: Windsor/Hartford, CT Duration :: Contract Shift :: Night Shift Job Description: Hands on experiences in:

  • Physical activities inside the data center relating to installs changes and Decomms.
  • Rack and Stack
  • Monitoring of Data Center infrastructure, responding to alerts, checking and clearing logs - DCIM, FMS, BMS
  • Prep for physical work, determine lengths, locations, checking stock, determine interface types and need
  • Installing and running cables, fiber, copper, cat5-6, labeling. Installing needed network patch panels etc
  • Facility related changes to UPS, generators etc
