RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in Stamford, CT.

Summary:The QA Analyst will review business requirements and functional specifications (design documents) in order to create, execute, and analyze test cases. They will report and document defects and other results to the appropriate audiences as well as track and close cases. The QA Analyst should have a proven track record of working with IT & Development teams as well as PMO & BA teams.

Responsibilities: Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, and data validation Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members Identify and potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes Perform root cause analysis on critical, production defects Creative solving of technical problems-to ensure the ability to translate technical requirements test plans Collaborate with other testers as needed on cross-functional projects Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of experience with functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing Ability to define test requirements, test complex functionality and build detail test scripts Ability to test business solutions under strict deadlines Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability and desire to work with people as part of a high-performance team Strong desire to excel; excellent verbal and written communication skills
