Our leading client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build out existing infrastructure and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Responsibilities of the Senior DevOps Engineer:
  • Support cloud and on-premise infrastructure design, build, configuration, and capacity planning
  • Perform Windows and Linux server installation, configuration, tuning, monitoring, and break-fix support
  • Create, deploy, and manage containers - experience with Docker required
  • Create, deploy and manage cloud-based resources
  • Install, configure, tune, monitor, and support SQL Server installation
  • Establish and maintain configuration specifications
  • Manage upgrade and deployment processes throughout SDLC

Requirements of the Senior DevOps Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of directly related hands-on experience
  • Extensive server, OS, cloud service, application, and network troubleshooting experience
  • Windows Server (2003 through 2019)
  • Linux, Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes
  • Tableau Server, AD management
  • Windows/PowerShell/Python/Shell scripting
  • Application performance monitoring
  • Server performance and capacity monitoring
  • Enterprise job scheduling and automation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • SQL Server DBA knowledge and experience (2005 through 2019)
  • Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance a plus
