Delivery Associates strive to get every order to the customer’s door on-time. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to work smart and work hard in a team environment. As a delivery driver, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location.Currently, we are looking to fill driving positions in Wallingford, CT.Delivery Driver Requirements:We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority for our organization and our extended customers. In partnership with our primary client we continue to consult with medical and health experts, and take all recommended precautions to keep everyone healthy. We have incredibly supportive support staff and IT systems which are made available to aid our drivers daily; all the tools needed for success are provided: Van, navigation & delivery devices, a fuel card. Our New devices, technology, and delivery van establish you in a fresh and unique work environment.Hours:Usual hours of operation areSunday-Saturday, 10:30 am – 7pm, with Delivery Associates Required to Staff and Support a “4-3 Schedule” which means our driversMUST work 4-Days on & 3 Days off(non-negotiable). Shifts can vary between8-10 hours per day.Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED We strive to deliver packages and excellence to our customers.Be 21 years or olderwith the ability to read and speak English for safetyHave a valid driver's license(a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required)Authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening(prescription marijuana usage is not acceptable per DOT regulations)Must pass a criminal background check; up to 7 years in scope.A motor vehicle record (MVR) search will have a scope of 3 years. The 3 years is calculated using the incident date, from the date of the MVR background check.
