Industrial Laundry Production Associate $13- $15 an Hour (Trumbull, CT)

Position: Production Associate

Pay: $14.25 an Hour Overtime Required

1st Shift = Sunday – Wed 5am – 4pm (10 Hours)

2nd Shift = Wed - Sun 5am- 4pm (10 Hours)

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

Responsible for feeding and bagging garments or linen. An example of duties include but are not limited to:

 Inspection - check for stains, repairs and discards.

 Fold and feed gowns into the machine

 Place folded gowns individually into gown bags.

 Place gowns in counts of 50 and then place then into Bio bags.

 Tag Bio bags with color coded tags with initials or assigned number

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Basic reading, writing, and math skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

2. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.

3. Background and drug checks will be conducted.

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
