POSITION: Production Washroom Associate
Due to tremendous growth throughout the company, we are seeking a high quality professional with an enthusiastic spirit to join our team as a Production Washroom Associate.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for turning machines over as quickly as possible.
2. Responsible for staging loads for the washers and dryers.
3. Must be aware of what's on line to be washed and what order to wash.
4. Responsible for washing under correct formulas and correct weights.
5. Responsible for spotting on assigned week.
6. Responsible for daily washroom cleanup.
7. Associate must follow up all safety rules and regulations.
8. Must be able to work independently.
9. Responsible for staging loads and having empty slings available for dry fold for the washers and dryers.
10. Responsible for close of the washroom area. Washer and dryers are off. (including gas on big dryers)
11. Responsible for shutting off the boiler, air compressor and water.
12. Responsible for shutting off the big and small fans. (The washroom is silent when associate's leaves)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
3. Must be able to work independently.
4. Associate must follow all safety rules and regulations.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
