- Somebody who gets the Infrastructure side of things – Legacy infrastructure, cloud architecture and cloud services is a MUST.
- They will participate in architecture design meetings.
- TOGAF certification or experience needed implementing using those principles is a MUST.
- Security / Identity Management experience on cloud is a MUST.
- Well-rounded – meaning legacy + new technologies experience needed.
- Remote would be possible but need to come to office on need basis.
- Diagram and document experience will be a big plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of virtualization platforms and hybrid cloud environments, network design and protocols, databases and storage, backup and archive, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring.
- Expertise with a broad base of digital web technologies, platforms, patterns, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Experience with single sign-on systems, identity access management systems, and PII data security best practices.
- Expertise with typical multi-tier architectures: web servers, caching, application servers, load balancers, and storage.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based computing architectures. Experience within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS and other cloud environments.
- Experience with general security technologies, processes, and concepts.
- Experience with environments containing multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
- In-depth experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex infrastructure solutions, DevOps, and Clustering.
- Proven track record of establishing Infrastructure strategy, roadmap, and enterprise-wide capacity planning & containerization (familiarity with Dockers and Kubernetes).
- Successfully performed Cloud enablement, infrastructure cost-benefit analysis, and migration under either AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or any other Cloud providers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong business judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
- Ability to learn and adjust quickly to a dynamic and changing environment
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
- Knowledge of ITSM standards and processes.
