Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of the Subway data centers and network infrastructure, including within Azure and AWS clouds. The Network Security Engineer is responsible for the implementation and auditing of all network security policies within the network. As part of the network infrastructure group, the Network Security Engineer supports the rest of the team and serves as a subject matter expert for all firewalls and security rules in the Subway environment.
