Essential Functions:

Answer phones, handles tenant questions, complaints.

Walks property, identifies and escalates concerns to property manager

Manages work orders and enters into the system, including follow up with Maintenance and residents to ensure proper completion. Reports any issues to Property Manager.

Collects and secures rental payments.

Delivers violation notices.

Assists with leasing duties to include showing apartments and preparing leases.

Maintains organized community office files.

Maintains working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations concerning apartment leasing and management.

Prepares accurate and complete reports in a timely manner.

Adhere to and comply with company safety policies and rules and utilize safety appliances as required.

Must have mode of communication in which to be contacted at home and to respond in cases of emergency.

Must be available for overtime, weekend, holiday and evening work.

Must be willing to be assigned to other managed properties as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned by Property Manager.

Qualifications:

High school education or equivalent.

Ability to read, write and comprehend and communicate articulately.

Mathematical skills (high school level) in order to calculate pro-rations, bank deposits, etc.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Adept in Excel, Word, Google, ability to learn new systems quickly

Must possess valid driver’s license.

Property Management experience a plus.

Ability to meet consistent attendance/schedule adherence per policy.

Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment background and drug test.
