If you have the talent and desire to touch the world, Johnson & Johnson has the career opportunities to help make it happen!Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Director, Janssen Enterprise Architect Chapter Lead is responsible for shaping the overall architecture strategy, including technology, business process, data, security and solution architecture, while aligning architecture strategy with business needs. Additional responsibilities include:

Architecture design of the products within the GOC, Region, Franchise and Product Groups to ensure alignment to business needs

Partners with engineering to ensure that technical implementations are aligned to the architecture design

Guides teams on technology, data, security and application architecture strategy, technical standards and evolution of the solution architecture

Promotes building reusable and scalable components across Product Groups and ensures platforms are consistent with security and data governance frameworks; addresses non-functional requirements related to performance and maintainability for products

Mentors and coaches the technical team members (Product Group Engineer / Architect, Product Lead Engineer, Technology Product Group Leader, Technology Product Manager)

Collaborates with engineering to adapt architecture concepts to engineering reality

Maintains a pulse on industry developments in architecture to ensure JJT’s architecture addresses future needs

Identifies and prioritizes opportunities that drive spend initiatives, optimization efforts and the total spend of ownership strategies, in conjunction with the Portfolio Manager

Works with the product engineers, seeking to identify platform opportunities within the business unit and at the Enterprise, to drive opportunities and maintain squads that are optimally sized

Domestic and international travel up to 30% will be required

Qualifications

Minimum 15-years of experience leading technical or IT teams is required

Bachelor’s level degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent is required; an advanced degree and/or professional technology certification is preferred.

Must possess experience and knowledge in enterprise architecture and IT infrastructure, while incorporating deep insights from current technology trends

Ability to make architecture decisions at a team and product level and experienced working on projects that span multiple organizations and business units

Deep expertise in Cloud DevOps & Security to enable true CI/CD product pipelines, including Infra Automation Engineering, Infra Network Engineering, and Quantum computing

Solid understanding of Cybersecurity, employing people, policies, processes and technology to protect assets such as security analysis, IDAM, and threat monitoring.

Foundational skills in Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, Intelligent Automation and Emerging Technology

Experienced in Product Development and Platform Engineering for the functional area, in order to build flexible platform ecosystems

Experienced in leading teams to manage priorities within the backlog, with a deep understanding of the relationship between Product Groups, Product teams and squads and a strong sense of design thinking

Ability to create a culture that relentlessly focuses on helping the people and organizations we touch

Focuses on continuous learning by seeking out and educating the organization on innovative technology trends

Champions and continues to refine the specialist track for Architecture

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $276,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
