With more than 55 locations globally, we provide our clients with integrated, end-to-end capabilities through all phases of development, including API, biologics, viral vector services, formulation, clinical trial solutions, logistics services and commercial manufacturing.Business Development Executive – Drug ProductOur Business Development Executive for Drug Product (BDE) focuses on representing and winning new Development and Commercial Drug Product Manufacturing Services business at Patheon, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. This is a multi-faceted role is responsible for revenue growth through the development and implementation of strategies that generate sales from new and existing accounts in our Metro North Territory (NY, NJ, CT).What will you do?Identify new molecule opportunities with new and existing clients

Present our value proposition, key differentiators from our competition and areas for strategic bundling of our services across our business unit.

Analyze and understand the funding mechanisms, source, and flow for the small and emerging clients.

Attend tradeshows, conferences, and seminars to generate new leads.

Enable winning proposals and play a key role in the contract negotiation phase.

Manage, update, maintain and record all relevant activities in the CRM database, and share information and background on prospective clients within the territory to our stakeholders.

How will you get here?EducationBachelor's degree in a science related field required.

ExperienceA minimum of 5 years' experience, successful track record selling Drug Product Services required.

Process Development/Commercial manufacturing experience is preferred.

Established contacts in major pharmaceutical organizations within your given territory.

Excellent presentation skills and ability to network within senior management ranks.

Dynamic and highly self-motivated individual

Proficient at managing Salesforce, Outlook, Teams, Zymewire and other sales tools.

Ability to travel within the defined territory, attend trade shows, team meetings etc. and work remotely from a home office.
