Take a closer look below.Pay Rate - $18.50 - $24.75 DOETemporary Assignment - ends mid-May 2022 with temp-to-hire potentialCompany Summary:The company is a web-based service that allows individuals to connect via text, voice, or video chat for simple and personalized on-demand, virtual home repair guidance, quick fixes and more.Job Summary:We are seeking skilled and reliable service technician professionals (tradespeople) with strong general repair skills to join our team. You will handle and manage on-demand, virtual home repair consultations and can expect to help identify and diagnose problems, provide guidance and detailed advice for a variety of DIY and repair issues.A successful service technician must be curious, self-aware, and passionate about the work. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, and will have exceptional customer service, leadership and computer literacy skills, and a calm and optimistic approach to problem-solving.Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities: Educating and guiding customers on-demand and virtually Diagnose problems by asking discovery questions and actively listening to gather information Create and implement a plan of action to repair issues submitted Suggest additional repairs and/or action steps as needed Build and maintain relationship with customers Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performedMinimum Qualifications: Knowledge of general maintenance/repair processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Ability to work flexible hours and work around changing schedulesEducation, Work Experience & Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
