OverviewReporting to the Information Technology Manager, the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will join our team of qualified, diverse security professionals that support a wide range of systems and programs to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of key infrastructure for multiple Department of Defense (DoD) programs. You must be knowledgeable of information technology and security principles. This is a dynamic, highly technical, multi-tasking environment that demands above average customer service, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Ultimate responsibility for the information systems security program and classified networks
  • Knowledge of NISPOM, DAAPM, eMASS and/or other governing documentation
  • Liaison between Government, IT, INFOSEC, Security, and programs for each classified network
  • Work directly with the ISSM/FSO to ensure program and overall security needs are met
  • Support maintenance compliance for all collateral information systems in the facility
  • Assist in security configuration validation of all classified operating systems and network devices
  • Collaborate to ensure all systems are compliant and in scope of current accreditation
  • Assist in managing "Configuration Management" for all classified networks
  • Manage the disestablishment of information systems ("Cradle to Grave")
  • Maintain data back up
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; OR an associate degree with 4 years of experience
  • Must have Security+ or CISSP OR must have the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date
  • Experience in administrative server operating systems, desktop build and configurations, configuring printers, group policy and active directory
  • Possess verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with program personnel
  • US Citizenship is a requirement for employment
  • Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, a Security+ CE, and 3 years of experience with Certification and Accreditation of classified systems and Risk Management Framework
  • Current CISSP or equivalent
  • Knowledge of NEXPOSE, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development

Salary Range: $82,400 USD - $123,600 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
