Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

  • Serves as senior technical advisor responsible for implementing
  • enterprise network security solutions using current and emerging
  • technologies. Leads the engineering, installation, maintenance and
  • administration of all technical aspects of corporate network security
  • including software and hardware. Responsible for translating businessrequirements into secure network solutions or process designs.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

  • Represents IOC Network Security in projects; gathers businessrequirements and architects / designs new network solutions to meet business needs, global standards and network & security design standards. Interacts with global counterpart to reach agreement onManages relationship with outsourced vendors and coordinates the execution of the design plan. Ensures that all aspects of the architecture are executed to plan. 25%
  • Consistently reviews performance of existing infrastructure; plans and executes lifecycle upgrades as required to meet/exceed existing SLAs. Plans, coordinates, communicates and executes upgrades, leading cross functional teams as required. Manages relationship with outsourced vendors and coordinates the execution of the design plan. Ensures that all aspects of the architecture are executed to plan. 25%
  • Analyzes current state and proposed network related infrastructure and conducts risks assessments based on impact and potential severity of a security related issue. Provides guidance and counsel to development groups within the Company to implement secure technical solutions for electronic commerce, EDI, web and other Internet and intranet projects. 10%
  • Participates in cyber investigations; analyzes data/evidence toidentify potential cyber incidents and vulnerabilities. Conducts forensic research as required to assess impact to corporate information assets. Makes recommendations for corrective actions. Represents IT in investigations with legal and law enforcement entities, as required. 5%
  • Monitors all aspects of Internet and intranet security and ensures ongoing effectiveness. Proactively assesses and makes recommendations for improvement. 5%
  • Performs firewall administration, develops troubleshooting procedures and designs resolution scripts. Identifies and evaluates new security products and technologies. 10%
  • Acts as subject matter expert ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and represents Network Communication in internal and external audits. 10%

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information
  • Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience Required: 5+ years of Network Security experience
