Here are the details: Position: Program Manager Location: Remote Rate: Negotiable based on experience Duration: 6+ Months Position Description: The Enterprise Data Strategy team within the global data & analytics (GD&A) is built to help the company drive improvement in the accessibility and quality of our data assets and tools, and allow us to deliver data solutions faster than we do today. Our ultimate goal is to ensure our ability to grow and serve customers is unconstrained by any limitations of our data. The Enterprise Data Strategy team supporting the Health Information Interoperability (HI2) program, providing a myriad of Data Governance-specific support including Data Quality and Enterprise Data Mapping leadership and development and implementation of general Data Governance processes and standards. This opportunity is an enterprise program management role that requires a candidate with strong project and program management background with the ability to operate in a dynamic, transformative environment. You will provide Enterprise Data Governance facilitation leadership for HI2, enterprise data mapping coordination, and ad-hoc support to the EDS-HI2 Program Management Senior Manager. In this highly-visible role where you will partner with multiple business units to understand their challenges and enable the HI2 Enterprise Data Governance process definition and implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a program management capacity in a data management organization. Responsibilities:

  • Leads coordination of HI2 Data Governance Work Group meeting series, follow ups and issue resolution.
  • Manages the HI2 Enterprise Data Mapping Governance process, including production of Data Governance Work Group Mapping Assessments and HI2 Business Leadership Review/Approval process.
  • Supports the creation, refinement and implementation of emerging HI2 Data Governance Processes and Standards.
  • Coordinates with Data Governance team members and cross-business unit partners to make sure that all parties are on track with initiative requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Monitors progress against initiative goals and objectives and implements communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks and timely delivery of initiative results.
  • Escalates emerging risks, issues and gaps as well as status of in-flight initiatives to EDS-HI2 Program Manager.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize and improve processes.

Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of program management experience, preferably focused in the healthcare industry
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in any of the following fields:
    • Business or Business Administration
    • Data Management
    • IT or Computer Science
    • Engineering
  • Demonstrated core project management skills including project planning, scope management, issue and risk management, resource planning, financial management, etc.
  • Experience scoping complex projects/programs and driving through to completion
  • Experience working in a data management organization strongly preferred
  • Excellent ability to develop and build teams by assessing quality talent and motivating/inspiring others
  • Highly adaptable, flexible working style to meet the variety of demands associated with the mobilization of a new, transformative organization.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of seniority within a large corporate and highly matrixed environment
