Position DescriptionOur client is seeking a highly motivated Java Full Stack Engineer who can also act as a Scrum master to serve as a key member of our software development team. Take your talents to a company that encourages growth and values your ideas!Role can be performed from Lafayette, LA or Bloomfield, CT.Future duties and responsibilitiesAs a Scrum master we expect the candidate to –• Serve as a servant leader for the team.• Manage work and protect team from outside hinderances.• Help team to manage work backlog by providing valuable design and architectural best practices.Java Full Stack Engineers are responsible for the development of applications using Agile methodologies and Cloud platforms.• Working in an onshore-offshore model.• Follow engineering best practices.• Work in an Agile environment, participate and contribute in ceremonies.We expect this person to do a dual role of partial Scrum master and architect.Required qualifications to be successful in this roleBachelor’s Degree with at least 8+ years of experience in:• Full Stack Engineering - Designing, developing, deploying & testing• Demonstrated experience in Java, J2EE, Python, Angular and PL SQL• Strong experience delivering APIs, RESTful, Microservices• Hands on experience with Javascript, CSS• Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, spring boot, Hibernate, Maven• Database Experience with Oracle/SQL• Knowledge of Test Driven Development around unit test automation using JUnit.• Experience with CICD tools such as; GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode/Checkmarx• Safe Scrum certification or experience being a scrum master for minimum 1 – 2 yrs.Vacancy expired!
