Maxar is searching for an Agile Coach and RTE to join our Content Hub team, based in Westminster, CO. This role can be performed remotely.

You will serve as the Content Hub Release Train Engineer and an Agile Coach. As part of the Content Hub leadership team, you will lead train level and facilitate enterprise level ceremonies to deliver value to our business, users, and customers. You will manage and coach the Content Hub Scrum Masters to develop their skills and drive velocity / improvements. You must be a resilient and adaptable leader who leverages Agile principles and practices to influence team members and leaders across the organization. As an agile coach, you will be responsible for training team members, offering solutions, mentoring and leading as an example using Agile and SAFe practices. While you are versed in enterprise Agile execution, you understand that process is a proxy for delivering value.

Content Hub is responsible for central Maxar image processing and discovery. We act like owners and we take pride in delivering to commitments which includes planned features and system operations. We want to build the best raster and catalog platform possible for where our company needs to be in 5 years and we need focus and discipline to achieve our lofty goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize business value delivery through the Content Hub Agile Release Train
  • Work with stakeholders to align business objectives with PI deliveries
  • Work with Agile Release Train leaders across the organization to align cadences
  • Facilitate PI planning
  • Manage cross train risks, dependencies throughout the PI
  • Coach teams and leaders in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices
  • Support Communities of Practice
  • Lead Scrum of Scrums to unblock and escalate problems as identified
  • Generate data visualization on train health, feature execution, and value delivery
  • Provide train and team capacity metrics to inform long range planning
  • Input long term train roadmap items into requirements management tool
  • Drive 'inspect and adapt' practices in the relentless pursuit of improvement

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a DoD Secret or higher security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, System Engineering, or related field. 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience, preferably in a software development or delivery organization with increasing responsibilities. A Master's degree may account for 2 years of experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Agile development principles and best practices, preferably with SAFe
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, take ownership of deliverables, and drive assigned tasks to completion
  • Demonstrated adaptability in applying Agile practices based on train and business needs
  • Proficiency with Agile requirements management processes and tools (Rally, Jira Align, etc.)
  • Proven facilitation and coaching skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
  • Management experience with demonstrate ability to delegate appropriately
  • Experience with Jira Align
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures, cloud computing, CI/CD
  • Natural curiosity and desire for accountability
  • Team oriented mindset
  • Current active security clearance

The compensation range for this position is $106,500.00 - $177,500.00 annually, dependent on skills and experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus plan.
