IT Support/Analyst (Temp-to-Perm)

(Louisville, CO Office) Onsite position

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

  • Under limited supervision, installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software and hardware related problems.
  • Responsible for the small ESX environment.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting desktop \ server problems as reported.
  • Monitors system activities, parameters and configurations to optimize performance and ensure security of the systems.
  • May perform system backups and recovery as well as maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
  • Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products. Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related area required
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant verifiable experience in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and VMware role or closely related information technology function.
  • Must have general knowledge of IT functions, technologies, and services particularly those relating to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, VMware, network including network storage, and desktop support. MCP, MCSE a plus.
  • Must have experience managing remote systems; including Active Directory
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus, good business judgment, as a well as a high degree of professionalism.
  • Works calmly and efficiently, balancing multiple priorities, while maintaining a helpful, professional attitude
  • Demonstrate strong communication skill, both written & verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize various requests, some of which have very specific deadlines which are critical to user experience.
