Will you?What does this role look like?This is for the Supply Chain Lead for Payload Center of Excellence (CoE)Key supply chain lead in the fast-paced, strategic environment, responsible for delivering significant Enterprise value by driving commonality, efficiency, and affordability.This role will offer you the following daily challenges: Develop and implement initiatives that drive streamlining and commonization of components and systems across multiple architectures Collaborate and communicate long term investment strategies to develop and deliver next-generation hardware solutions and strategic supplier agreements to significantly reduce lead time and cost Develop and implement strategies to more effectively and efficiently procure spacecraft payload hardware Identify and coordinate alternate sources and technology insertion to significantly improve competition and leverage Articulate and communicate subcontract and procurement status, risk & opportunity management, and issues, resolution/recovery plans to all stakeholders Lead Supply Chain CoE new business requirements, to include RFPs to subcontractors, technical evaluations, risk assessment and Basis of Estimate requirements through negotiations and subcontract award Identify and coordinate finance metrics supporting lead time and cost reductions.This position is in one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado.It will require occasional travel to support multiple fast-paced Programs and suppliers.Basic Qualifications:To be successful, you need to possess these basic qualifications: Must have 15 years of experience and a Bachelors degree, or 13 years experience and a Masters, or equivalent /combined education, demonstrating technical acumen with space programs and/or projects. Must have experience developing and delivering technical solutions with documented ROI. Subcontract, program management and/or engineering experience, proven record of successful performance with focus on mission success, with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Proven ability to drive and inspire results/resolution of technical issues and successful outcomes through teamwork. Possess excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management.
