Our teams operate at the intersection of wireless, data analytics, AI and the cloud to create something state-of-the-art, radically original and truly unlike what anyone else can.What you will be doingWe are seeking an entry-level Engineer who has knowledge of current fiber optic networks and data traffic engineering technical skills to support the design, development and optimization of our 5G wireless network. The role presents an opportunity to implement and optimize the latest networking solutions He or she will support transport and traffic portions of network projects such as cell build program, frequency carrier add growth, hardware conversions, fiber to cell initiatives, data centers, E911 and IP-based technologies. In this role, you will:- Perform network integration for transport nodes and cell site routers across multi-vendor platforms;
- Support long haul, backhaul, midhaul and fronthaul for both lit and dark fiber per specified design rules and topology guidelines;
- Collaborate with management on direction for upcoming transport design programs;
- Actively contribute to improvements and participate in innovation, lessons learned and knowledge sharing activities;
- Ensure work meets all applicable engineering, financial, planning and operational standards.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business discipline;
- Ability to manage multiple commitments simultaneously;
- Knowledge of deploying fiber Ethernet to cell site locations is a plus;
- Basic understanding of wireless network architecture, infrastructure components, Ethernet, fiber optic transport and data traffic engineering is a plus;
- PathLoss 5, Google Earth or Planet design experience is beneficial;
- Experience drawing system diagrams a plus.
