Job Summary Looking for a candidate who will be responsible for support, maintenance and testing of network and service provisioning applications. The candidate will be involved in projects of moderate to high complexity within multiple environments.
Job Responsibilities Provide support for incoming tickets to identify issues associated with network and service provisioning layer in the lab Follows up on all the tickets in timely manner and pursues issues through to resolution Responsible for code deployments and release installs for various applications in the lab environment Responsible for troubleshooting network provisioning of various CPE devices Work closely with the development and architecture teams to understand the requirements around testing new features and releases Responsible for testing software releases for network provisioning and service activation applications Responsible for creation and execution of test plans and reporting bugs on issues found during testing Analyze test data, document results, and clearly communicate results and conclusions to project stakeholders Responsible for creating and managing documentation for support and testing related activities for provisioning applicationsQualifications Must have basic knowledge of computer networking, including subnetting, basic routing and switching protocols including SIP, LAN, WAN, VLAN Must have some experience working with Cisco provisioning applications like CNR, RDU, DPE etc. Must be willing to learn new or unfamiliar technology quickly and products using documentation and internet resources Must be able to prioritize and achieve results while working on several simultaneous tasks and high-profile projects A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment Knowledge of billers like CSG, ICOMS and NextGen process in a provisioning and activation flow is a plus Knowledge of testing fundamentals with experience in cable(Video/Voice/HSD) domain is a plus Knowledge of SAFE and Agile methodologies is a plusTechnical skillset Cisco Prime Provisioning, Linux, VMWare, Oracle, Splunk, Wireshark, Webservices, JIRA, ALM Respond in the subject line with: GREEN Please contact: RYAN CARLEO EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
