DISH Technologies is looking for an innovative and passionate "Software Configuration and Release Management (SCRM) Engineer II" to join our team bringing value to customers quickly. This position is an opportunity to partner with Software Engineering and Customer Experience Operations teams to maintain the delivery of software releases to customers. Duties:

  • Responsible for the versioning & auditing of set top box software
  • Configuration verification and baseline audits of software
  • Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables
  • Support test organizations on a daily basis
  • Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and production environments
  • Responsible for performing the technical and administrative activities necessary to manage configuration management tools that store, track, and manage configuration items
  • Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate solutions
  • Manages & deploys cloud updates to test organizations
Preferred Experience & Knowledge:
  • 2 or more years of experience with configuration management tools and/or software verification processes
  • 2 or more years of experience in Linux command line experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel) & Google Suite products
  • Development in React or test experience preferred
