Job Description:

Organizational Overview:

SS&C ALPS. is a leading provider of innovative investment products and customized servicing solutions to the financial services industry. Founded in 1985, Denver-based ALPS delivers its asset management and asset servicing solutions through offices in Boston, Dallas, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Toronto.

Role Overview:

As a member of the ALPS Advisors investment management team, the Senior Investment Analyst will perform portfolio management duties, including gaining a firm understanding of the firm's order management system (Eze), to assist in the daily maintenance, trading, and settlements of the firm's 30+ ETF's and mutual funds ("the funds"). Additionally, the Senior Investment Analyst will assist with ETF Capital Markets to ensure the firm's ETFs are trading properly in the market each day.

Research duties include generating weekly, monthly, and quarterly ETF research content, Board reports, white papers, RFP's, competitive analysis using Morningstar, as well as other ad-hoc analytics requested by clients. The Senior Investment Analyst will participate in ETF marketing strategies, present to the sales force on weekly calls, and assist with product development of new ETFs. The position will require heavy interaction with ALPS legal, compliance, fund accounting, sales, and various fund partners / index providers to ensure the best client experience. Strong leadership skills will be needed to oversee and delegate ongoing team projects for timely completion, as well as strong Excel skills for research and trading purposes.

Requirements:

Extensive Excel skills required

Strong Analytical skills required with CFA or progress towards

Strong Communication skills required

Morningstar Direct experience a plus

Knowledge of Order Management Systems (OMS), such as CRD and EZE a plus

Trading experience a plus

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $100,000. (This position is eligible to participate in a company bonus plan and stock program].
