Cloud Solutions Architect- Data Analytics

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience preferred. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. This will focus on Data Visualization, existing Analytics architectures, Machine Learning, and Data Warehousing. The team will consist of experts identifying, solutioning, piloting and implementing solutions.Job DescriptionWe are seeking technical architects with a strong track record of business analytics and data warehousing to join our Cloud Engineering team providing expertise in Business Intelligence, Analytics and Machine Learning across all industry sectors.This role is a technical, hands-on cloud engineer that will work closely with our sales teams to develop new business, as well as, drive additional consumption of Oracle Analytics Cloud users.The successful candidate must have a good understanding of the value of data and analytics, as well as, proven experience delivering solutions to C-Level business line and technical leadership.The Cloud Architect must have a solid understanding of reporting and analytics and the value it can bring to business. From a top down approach, the Cloud Architect will engage with a customer to discover business problems and goals, and develop solutions using Oracle Cloud services. The Cloud Architect will work collaboratively with the customer to document the current state architecture, design the future state architecture, and develop a path for digital transformation.We are looking for team members who can develop and deliver high quality presentations, demonstrations and solutions to multiple lines of business and management levels, which clearly articulate the Oracle Analytics and Cloud value proposition.Experience in Analytics/BI tools is required along with passion, curiosity, technical depth, and exceptional communication/presentation skills. Strong hands-on skills are essential.Key Responsibilities

Primary focus on Oracle's analytics offerings: Analytics Cloud, Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Essbase, OBIEE.

Solution design: provide strong expertise creating detailed technical architectures and product solutions for specified needs.

Solution sizing/costing and configuration.

Conduct PoCs tailored to customers' needs and proof points.

Run and Deliver Customer Hands on Workshops

Detailed product presentations in a selling situation.

Provide global thought leadership on Analytics solutions that benefit customers through the use of Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Strong experience in Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or OCI

Interact with all roles at customer, including CIO, CTO, IT Architects, technical staff and business representatives.
