Description There is an opening for a Financial Analyst at a fast-growing, dynamic team via Robert Half —the Financial Analyst will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity in the Denver, Colorado, area. We are seeking Financial Analyst candidates who are comfortable with conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. In this position, you will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management.What you get to do every dayFlexible individual capable of handling large amounts of information and managing expectations
Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance
Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Work next to cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Execute and monitor forecasting reports
Create effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and recommendation support
Review annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations
Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending Requirements - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience suggested)
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Excel Formulas experience
Deep understanding of Bank Account Reconciliation
Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting
