The Position: We are seeking a

Finance Associate to join our team in the Denver Tech Center. The Finance Associate drives business performance through analysis of cash needs and forecast, capital budget programs, working alongside Redevelopment to track project variances (forecasts vs. actual & plans vs. actual).

Qualifications

Crucial Characteristics:

You’re an Excel virtuoso. You know how to notably gather, structure, and exhibit your data, with an intermediate to expert level understanding of Excel, including features likePivot Tables and nested formulas. While not required, VBA knowledge is a plus to help automate processes. Addressing complex problems and developing efficient solutions in Excel is inherently exciting to you.
You’re analytical by nature. You like to get to the bottom of things and are a self-starter. Your attention to detail is outstanding. You use knowledge, facts, and information to build out solutions. You have a methodical step-by-step approach to thinking that allows you to break down complex problems into single and manageable components.
You enjoy telling a story through numbers. You can take a report full of numbers and effectively communicate insightful conclusions about the key points to your intended audience.

A Typical Day Will Include:

Manage daily cash balances including monitoring daily cash balances, processing wires.
Prepare bank compliance reporting.
Perform data modeling to support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and strategic decision making.
Coordinate and produce monthly senior management reporting regarding organizational performance.
Assist with accounting and financial reporting to support quarterly earnings releases and board meetings.
Document policies and procedures to create process flows.
Optimize business unit operations by identifying deficiencies within existing systems and reengineering the process.
Develop organization-wide process solutions; Coordinate business presentations and participate in implementations.
Support, maintain, train and administer business systems.

Education & Experience:You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 2+ years of experience with an extensive understanding of financial concepts, processes and systems. You have a proven ability to thrive in a complex, fast paced environment. Required skills include expert proficiency in Excel.

Highly desirable skills includeVBA, experience presenting to senior leaders, and proficiency in Hyperion. A background in real estate or development is beneficial, but not required.

Salary Range:$55,896-$72,000 annually + Annual Bonus Eligibility

You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
