Job Description

As amember of our Denver-based Support & Implementation Department,you will launch customer sites and provide support before and after Go-Live. You will also assist with other technical efforts in the Denver office as needed, including answering technical questions for potential customers, maintaining the robots in the showroom, setting up and running virtual and physical demonstrations, and maintaining IT infrastructure.When a support request comes from a customer, you will triage their issue and either fix the problem orcoordinate with the engineering teams to resolve the issue quickly.

Qualifications

Most of the support is related to software issues, but there are electrical issues during implementations and during ongoing operations. Therefore we are hoping to find someone with an Electrical Engineering background who is able to program a little as well.

In order to be successful you should have experience with as many of the below as possible:

  1. Working with end users (email and phone)
  2. Software troubleshooting
  3. Writing mySQL queries
  4. Hardware troubleshooting (electronics, motors, cabling)
  5. Working with hand tools
  6. Resolving customerissues under tight deadlines
  7. Linux admin, especially ssh, grep, and working on the command line
  8. Windows 7, 8, and 10 administration
  9. Office IT administration, setting up switches, wifi, VPNs, etc
  10. Reading logs

Skills and experience which would be nice to have:

  1. Experience with a major WMS (Warehouse Management System) such as JDA, Manhattan, High Jump or SAP
  2. Java development
  3. MongoDB
  4. Creating documentation or technical writing
  5. Ability to diagnose electrical issues using a multimeter
  6. Soldering
  7. Familiarity with production/assembly

Additional Information

Participation in the on-call schedule is required. There may be travel required for up to 2 weeks at a time during an implementation. Flexibility to work in off hours in order to coordinate with the China team is desired.
