Apex Systems, the nation's second largest IT staffing firm, has an immediate opportunity for a Home Install Technician to support one of our clients in Colorado Springs, CO. Please find the details below.

Job Title: Home Install Technician

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM- 5 PM Potential for Tuesday- Saturday schedule as well.

Duration: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $20/Hr

Vehicle Requirement: Employee will be required to use their own vehicle while under contract, but when/if converted to a full-time employee a fleet vehicle would be provided. SUV/Truck is required.

Equipment: Basic hand tools are required for this role including, but not limited to; cordless drill, wire cutters and 6ft ladder (12 foot extension preferred).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The contractor will be installing Home Security Systems to client's homes.

The employee will be picking up the correct equipment from the warehouse and delivering and installing it to customer's homes.

Responsible for any not-used equipment and/or any faulty equipment and will be required to take it back to their warehouse if not used.

Will be in customers' homes and will be expected to show exceptional customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years relevant experience (preferred in-home/client facing)

Not highly technical role, needs understanding of Phone applications

Strong customer interaction skills.

Basic understanding of Networking
