Come be a part of our mission! Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Engineer - Cyber Tools Specialist based out of Colorado Springs, CO. What You'll get to Do:
- This position is responsible for the development and implementation of Cyber TPs in the NT labs, the C2BMC Testbed (CTB), and Ops.
- Tasks include: installing, deploying, and unit testing Cyber Products (e.g., HBSS, ACAS, ArcSight, TFA, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc.).
- Providing redlines to COS engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership will be required as part of this position''s responsibilities.
- Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards will be required in daily tasks as well.
- The Cyber Tools Specialist will support the Cyber Tools team as part of the Platform and Infrastructure (P&I) ART.
- An active Secret clearance is required.
- 2 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 6 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
- Skillset in technical trouble shooting of software applications and integrating COTS products, data analytics of system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and risk mitigation resulting in system accreditation.
- Must have working knowledge of implementing DISA STIGs and GPOs.
- The position requires a strong knowledge of Cyber technology and DoD information assurance system certification.
- Requires hands-on experience utilizing patch management, scanning & auditing, security event monitoring, host-based security and multi-factor tools in an integrated lab environment.
- Excellent technical document preparation skills and verbal communications are required for presentation of technical Cyber issues and reports to Agile Release Train (ART) leadership.
- Experience with Agile Lifecycle utilizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a plus.
