Job Description

Seeking Senior Civil Estimator for growing Colorado Based Firm!

The position of estimator is a key position within the project management structure of our firm. This position comes with many responsibilities and the individual assuming this position must possess excellent management and even more so, leadership qualities. This individual must have excellent communication, motivational, instructional and mentoring skills. Personal as well as professional integrity is a must and this person must "Lead by Example".

Requirements:
  • 5+ years working in civil construction
  • PE License or ability to get soon
  • Must be able to accurately read plans/specs and interpret as needed
  • Must be familiar with AutoCad and be able to use program to set estimates
  • Must be adept at technical writing
  • Experience with job costing reports
  • Ability to travel to and walk project sites as required. Must have a drivers license with a reasonably clean driving record
  • High math skills, attention to detail, and organized
  • Pluses:
    • Knowledge of various bid software
    • Knowledge of Primavera and/or Procontractor
    • Experience using AGTEK
    • BS Degree in Civil Construction Tech, Civil Engineering or similar
