Due to our success, we are seeking aContracts Administratorto join our growing team in Boulder, Colorado. The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for negotiating, monitoring and administering contracts through contract completion. This role reports to, and will perform job functions under the guidance of, the Senior Vice President of Internal Operations/Legal.
In addition to work withcommercial contracts, the Contracts Administrator will performFederal government contract & subcontract administrationfor contract awards and modifications for all contract cost types including cost plus fixed fee, firm-fixed price, and time and materials.
In this role, the chosen candidate will primarily be responsible for:
Reviewing contracts and related documents and provide contract administration functions in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications
Contract and subcontract management and administration across a portfolio of programs with varying degrees of complexity
Coordination with corporate Legal to review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Subcontracts and other legal documents as required
Providing inter-office administrative support as requested within company’s Internal Operations groupQualifications
Essential requirements and experience include:
US citizenship is required along with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance. This is position will work out of our Boulder, Colorado office. Remote work is not being considered.
Previous experience reviewing/managing contracts and familiarity with contract legal requirements and terms of use.
Strong attention to detail and strong organization skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, to co-workers and team members
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs is required, including MS Word and MS Excel
Employee may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a SECRET and up to TS clearance for access to classified information
Preferred requirements:
Previous experience with software licensing and software company contract administration
Exposure/familiarity of contracting environment for federal government agencies particularly within the Department of Defense
Working knowledge and ability to apply requirements of federal contracting terms and conditions, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition. Regulations (DFARS) and applicable agency supplement requirements, and government accounting practices to contract administration activities
Education and/or Experience
A Bachelor degree from an accredited U.S. college or university
2+ years of experience in contracts related fieldAdditional Information
