Shipping Clerk (Visalia)

We're a family owned and operated performance automotive parts manufacturer and distributor. We're looking for a motivated, positive and proactive member to join our shipping department.

Requirements include:

Ability to stand for long periods of time up to an entire day of work

Must be able to properly lift boxes weighing up to 75 lbs.

Quick and efficient learner who takes pride in accuracy and quality

Ability to multi-task repeatedly with attention to detail and minimal errors.

Enjoys working with others and able to adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities include: Packing, manifesting, quality control, stocking supplies, maintaining standards and providing "same day service" whenever possible.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current drivers license

Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of work experience, preferably in shipping and receiving

Experience with packing and shipping methods and processes

Experience with UPS Worldship software program

Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

Standing and walking

Bending and stooping

Lifting and moving boxes up to 75 pounds

Climbing on and off material handling equipment

Viewing computer screen

Keyboarding

Work Environment: Work is performed in a warehouse or distribution environment with forklifts, material handling and production equipment and exposure to hot or cold, depending on external weather.
