Sr. Accountant

Description A growing hospital group in Van Nuys area is seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join their team. This Senior Accountant will be responsible for processing reconciliation, entering journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, working with the general ledger, and supporting year-end audit. They will work directly below the controller and be responsible for accounting duties such as financial statement preparation, month end close support, and statistical and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant should possess a strong understanding of healthcare data and regulations. Individuals will need at least 5+ years of accounting and finance experience in a healthcare organization.Requirements Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting

5+ years of Finance and Accounting experience in a healthcare organization

A thorough understanding of US GAAP compliance

Strong ERP system experience
