Job Description

The Regional Vice President of Sales, US West will be responsible for driving strategic, profitable long-term growth and managing all sales and pipeline development activities for customers located in the western United States. This role will lead sales strategy development and execution, driving growth within our strategic segments of Food, Fulfillment and Retail.

  • Coach and provide development opportunities for sales account executives. Ensure annual goals are complete and communicated. Ensure Global Performance Management System is up to date and regular feedback is provided to team members.
  • Create and lead the execution of a regional sales strategy in support of the Printer Solution Divisions’s (PSD) strategic plan. Managing senior level relationships as key accounts
  • Ensure sales territories are built to deliver potential of territory, managing both growth and cost to serve measures
  • Solution sales (ROI based) with deep knowledge of market (size, challenges, competitive landscape)
  • Pipeline vitality focus; near term conversion, future prospecting
  • Attract, retain and develop high potential talent.
  • Model and promote the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.
  • Act as a team role model and change-agent.
  • Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
  • Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.
  • Responsible for clear, focused leadership to further reduce the barriers to delivering competitive advantage via global size and scale.
  • Actively engage in utilizing company best practices to increase efficiency and profit margins.
  • Translate market trends and customer needs into actionable goals that create competitive advantage.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years business experience, emphasizing sales and marketing desired.
  • Experience in food, fulfillment or software sales strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience in strategic Sales leadership needed.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-regional projects or initiatives.
  • Advanced business and financial acumen needed.
  • Experience in planning and forecasting, with practical experience in researching new opportunities and implementing successful account penetration.
  • Must be able to champion new business ventures. This will require excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
  • Experience in strategic leadership and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-regional projects or initiatives.
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office suite, Google tools (mail, calendar, drive), and function specific software.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
