SummaryAbout the position:This position will be assigned to the Youth Center (ages 5-12 years old) at Travis AFB. Regular Full-time employees are guaranteed 35 - 40 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision of Youth Center Director, with minimal management oversight, plans, organizes, coordinates, and overseas the day-to-day and long range operation of a large, and comprehensive School Age Program consisting of such services as a before and after school program, full day summer camp, and school holiday camps for children K-6th grade. Exercise full range of supervisory duties to include planning and assigning work, developing (30-35) School Age Child and Youth Program Assistants. Provides direction to motivate staff with tact and skill. Identifies training needs and recommends or arranges for training as appropriate. Prepares and submits annual Non-Appropriated Fund budget to supervisor with sufficient lead time to meet Resources Management Flight suspense. Ability to plan and conduct an enhanced variety of school-age activities and services. Must possess maturity and good judgement and like working with children/youth and their parents. Must have a valid driver's license.
