We are looking for a Project Manager with HCC Coding Team -LA/TX Department at St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare.Location: Torrance, CASchedule: Full-time 80 Biweekly HourShift: 8 Hour Day ShiftJob Summary:Reporting into the Performance Improvement department, manages, coordinates and provides leadership to a wide variety of projects and supports complex administrative and operational activities. This position will supervise projects and departmental activities to help align Heritage's goals through the engagement of staff, physicians and executives in support of the mission, vision and values, strategic plan and priorities. In addition, this position collaborates with other St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare managers to update on activities and collaborate on system-wide initiatives.Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects, use time management skills and independent judgment.

Skilled in a variety of software applications.

Ability to adapt to shifting priorities; team player, tactful and diplomatic.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively with all levels of management internal/external.

Ability to work well as part of a team within a highly collaborative atmosphere, including local and corporate entities.

Ability to take direction from multiple sources and follow through on assignments.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to manage a small team, serving as a leader and mentor.

Excellent communications skills, including exceptional command of written communications.

Possess knowledge of core tenets of new and traditional marketing, public relations and communications.

Ability to develop and lead the implementation of communications plans and activities.

Possess clear thinking and influencing skills to develop and gain buy-in for strategic communications plans.

Must be self-motivated / flexible / and well organized.

Position Requirements:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent educational/experienceExperience: 3 years Project management experienceLicense and Certificate:Valid California Driver’s License.
