Data Center Lab Technician

Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. Must have:- Eagerness to learn- Min. high school diploma-At least 1+ years working in data center environment- Proof of vaccination NOT requiredInterview process - 1st interview with hiring manager with video call.Notes:-looking for candidate with at least some experience in a data center (ticketing- SalesForce, self starter)-looking for someone with some exposure/knowledge of tech that is willing to learn these parts of working in data center-some physical aspects for the position-open to someone with desktop support/ IT support experience-networking knowledge, virtualization, automation all a plus- looking for someone who is excited to gain experience and growLab Technician - Responsibilities:• Manage ticketing queue• Lab Infrastructure support• Resource coordination• Inventory control• Customer support• Data storage support• Server Farm support• Hypervisor support• Troubleshooting various software and hardware environments• Rack and install data center equipment• Open communication with various team leadersRequirements:• knowledgeable of server hardware and software• knowledgeable of routers and switches• knowledgeable of Access Points and controllers• knowledgeable of traffic generators and testing equipment• knowledgeable of terminal servers and PDU equipment• 1-2 years’ experience working in a data center environment• Excellent time management skills.• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.• Strong interest in learning.• Dependable.• Process-oriented.• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.Applicants must provide their phone number.
