RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Sunnyvale, CA that is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician.

Summary:We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Technician for a contract position. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for troubleshooting and deep-dive. The Quality Assurance Technician will have the opportunity to work with other talented QAEs, SDETs, SDEs and Product Owners both within our core team as well as with partner teams who use the software our group develops. A typical day would have some combination of understanding new devices, features and tools as they are built, envisioning test strategies, developing test plans & testcases, overseeing test execution and building test automation for regression testing.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or in lieu of a Master's degree, at least a at least a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of post-Bachelor's degree progressive work experience or any Product experience with wireless consumer electronics) 3+ years of software QA testing experience with black and grey box functional testing and the ability to operate within short release cycles 1+ years of experience in writing scripts in at least one language (Java, Python) Hands-on experience in testing Linux and/or Android-based devices Creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness Solid understanding of QA tool development chains and environments Audio or Camera testing background preferred
