- Project manage multiple simultaneous introductions of a new service module.
- Assist multiple EPM with day-to-day execution of tactical tasks
- Manage test engineering aspects of plan-of-record project schedule, including communication of status, risks and changes.
- Manage equipment design aspects of project, including
- Identifying needed design items in consultation with team members,
- Obtaining quotations (with engineering assistance) and imitating purchase requisitions,
- Tracking status of design, quotation, purchase, delivery and overall readiness, and tracking design, quality and performance issues with equipment.
- Manage overall engineering readiness checklists, including
- Revising existing checklists to include any new, relevant aspects of current project,
- Reviewing and updating checklist status with team in a simple, time efficient manner, and
- Highlighting any at-risk checklist items in a timely manner.
- Identify, track and communicate key performance objectives in a succinct, clear manner, including schedule, cost, test coverage, yield, space and labor.
- Grow to lead daily Scrum meetings, weekly reviews and ad hoc meetings, as required.
- Ensure that test team members and cross-functional team members are well-informed of issues in a timely, succinct, clear manner. Typical teams include Test Engineering,
- Operations Management, CapEx, TPM, PQM and China-based suppliers / partners.
- 2+ years of project management experience, ideally in a technical, high volume, consumer electronics environment.
- Basic understanding of electronic assembly and or electronic test processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of supplier management, including managing purchase requisitions.
- Exposure to supplier negotiations and cost analysis.
- Experience working with equipment suppliers and contract manufacturing firms.
- Experience using Apple Keynote and Numbers, strongly preferred.
- Experience using PowerPoint and Excel mandatory
- Experience using system tools for purchase order management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Other languages, including Mandarin, are desirable, but not required.
- Flexibility and comfort working in a fast paced, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while making sound technical / business judgments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated ability as a self-starter who can "hit the ground running” in a new environment.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is the minimum requirement.
- Prefer an individual with a technical degree, ideally in engineering or computer science.
