Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Become an imperative part of a steadily developing team at a thriving company as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This short-term contract / temporary to hire position is offered through Robert Half. The Accounts Payable Clerk will resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. Located in Stockton, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position.Your responsibilitiesExecute additional tasks as needed

Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

Manage full-cycle A/P

Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time Requirements

Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

Strong attention to detail

Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

Command of Microsoft Excel

Deep understanding of numeric data entry

AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
