Hospital Services Tech II

Vitalant (your local blood bank with a brand new name) is seeking a full-time team member to receive, prepare and deliver orders for blood and blood products to area hospitals between Lompoc and Monterey Counties. Some quarantine, inventory, and troubleshooting is also required. Exceptional customer service skills, a friendly and helpful attitude, and the desire to make a difference is critical to this position. This is a physical job which requires frequent standing, bending, lifting to 50 lbs., and delivery driving using a company vehicle. Computer skills, HS Diploma or equivalent, and valid CA driver license with a clean DMV history is required. Afternoon / evening hours with weekends required, 5 days per week. We are looking for candidates who possess excellent customer service skills, safe driving habits, and basic computer knowledge. After hours on call required on a rotating basis. A thorough drug screen and background check also required.
