About the Program

Our Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services.

About the Position

We have a Full-Time opening for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide clinical services for Veterans and Medicare clients affected by or living with mental illness and/or complex PTSD at our Central Clinic in Medford. This position works as a member of an internal interdisciplinary team and could also provide consultation with and referral to external resources, including PCP’s, community partners, and natural social supports as necessary to promote wellness and recovery for clients. Ability to work in person/telehealth as needed during this pandemic.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday; 8:00am–5:00pm (Day)

This position requires the ability to perform a Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment and Treatment Plan, as well as the ability to update these documents as required and clinically appropriate. Experience in documenting to the Medicare and/or Medicaid-standard is strongly preferred; training will be provided to the right candidate. Successful clinicians will have experience working with Veterans, training in treating populations with Complex PTSD and have a strong working knowledge of the DSM 5. Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills are needed. Knowledge of community resources in order to assist clients with transition plans and case coordination is preferred. In addition, you will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques.

Qualifications

MUST be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker

MUST be QMHP Certified through Mental Health & Addictions Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) -OR- MEET eligibility qualifications to register with MHACBO

MUST meet State of Oregon QMHP credentials:

a) Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field;

Bachelor's degree in Nursing and be Licensed by the State of Oregon

PREFERABLY meet OAR requirement for QMHP by having completed TWO (2) YEARS of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting.

Successful applicants MUST have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Salary & Benefits

$5,166-$6,750 per month/DOE. This is a salary exempt position.
